    A night to remember!

    First annual ( DICK GREENAWALT MEMORIAL )

    Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway / Newmanstown, Pa

    On this night the Greenawalt Family and the Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway ( home of the Lanco Micro Midget Racing Club ) will honor former track photographer Dick Greenawalt who passed way suddenly last July 5 2011.

    This will be an annual event to honor Dick and the speedway that he spent 20 plus years at working as there track photographer. Lee (son) Carol (wife) Margaret ( daughter-in-law) will be in attendance to honor Dick. This will be a emotional night for all.

    We will a have limited edition t-shirt and decal for the event, see Lee, Carol, or Margaret in the pits that night to purchase your’s.

    Located a short distance off PA 501 / 4 miles North of intersection of US322 and PA 501

    Schedule of events:

    Gates open at 330pm

    Warn-ups at 5pm

    Racing at 6pm

    Racing that night will be the 600 cc / 270 cc 2 strokes / 4 strokes / 125 cc / Sportsman’s this will be a regular Lanco show.

    Lee Greenawalt

    I'm a second generation photographer, my father, Dick Greenawalt was the official photographer for URC.I started shooting at age 9 ( 1975 ) at Convention Hall in Atlantic City NJ, then at Reading for USAC races. At one time I was the youngest photographer in the east, after meeting Cris Economaki at Atlantic City I began to shoot for National Speed Sport News. I have traveled all over PA, NY, NJ, following sprint cars. I have been one of the track photographers for Williams Grove Speedway in the 1980's, and at that time I also worked for Gater News as there representative at Williams Grove and other tracks : Ascot Speedway-CA, Knoxville-Knoxville Nationals, Oswego Speedway-Classic and regular shows, Dover Downs-Nascar, Syracuse-Usac an Dirt Week, just to name a few. After a 17 year absence due my full time job I am happy to be back on the race trail again! I'm back at Williams Grove, Oswego, Lincoln and many other tracks that I've visited in the past.
