The 1941 Indy "500" winner Floyd Davis & Mauri Rose !
The much-storied “Curly” Wetteroth-built Noc-Out Hose Clamp Special was already in its third race when Floyd Davis and Mauri Rose co-drove it in victory in 1941. enjoy!
I'm a second generation photographer, my father, Dick Greenawalt was the official photographer for URC.I started shooting at age 9 ( 1975 ) at Convention Hall in Atlantic City NJ, then at Reading for USAC races. At one time I was the youngest photographer in the east, after meeting Cris Economaki at Atlantic City I began to shoot for National Speed Sport News. I have traveled all over PA, NY, NJ, following sprint cars. I have been one of the track photographers for Williams Grove Speedway in the 1980's, and at that time I also worked for Gater News as there representative at Williams Grove and other tracks : Ascot Speedway-CA, Knoxville-Knoxville Nationals, Oswego Speedway-Classic and regular shows, Dover Downs-Nascar, Syracuse-Usac an Dirt Week, just to name a few.
After a 17 year absence due my full time job I am happy to be back on the race trail again! I'm back at Williams Grove, Oswego, Lincoln and many other tracks that I've visited in the past.
